Silly Girl never actually deserved such a name! She has been the most willing, hard-working, and generous pony one could imagine. She was always forward going and energetic but was never naughty or misbehaved. We have chosen to retire her as she is the sort of pony who won’t stop unless we stop her! Her last years of work have been very gentle with only lower level riders. Any who had the luck to ride her will remember her forever. I’d like to thank her owner Beth, who trusted us with her.
Silly Girl has competed in dressage, jumping, eventing, pony games and horseball, including during many French Championships. She never looked the most stunning pony of the show ground, but was always in the prize giving. When leaving to go to shows early on Sunday mornings, she would pull the lead rope out of our hands, gallop across the car park and jump straight up the ramp into the lorry! We would just about have time to shout, “Look out! Here she comes!”, and she would be standing in the lorry waiting to be tied up in her place!
